Joy.... Do you have it? Can you have it? Is it attainable or is it a lost virtue/attribute? I believe most people confuse joy with happiness. Things can make you happy, but only momentarily. If I go out and buy a new truck... I am happy. it smells good, it rides smooth, it looks sharp. Then I get the payment book, and a dent in the fender and my child spills milk in the carpet... The smell has diffidently changed, all I see is a dent, and I have 60 payments to pay this thing off... My happiness changes! Joy on the other hand does not change. You can be dieing and still have joy. Because joy comes from knowing the Lord. True Joy is to know Jesus. It can not be bought, though people try to buy it. It can not be found by your self, thou people search for it. It can not be achieved through hobbies or things, though people try daily to find it here. It only comes through having a relationship that is healthy with the Lord. Do you have Joy?

After talking to the "mad dog" himself, I have realized the error of my blogger ways... with that said I shall attempt to start updating my blogs on a regular basis. With all of that said let me just say to all of the mothers out there, happy Mothers Day. We appreciate what you have done for us and what you do everyday for your children. May God richly bless you this Mothers Day with the gifts you deserve!

The Future
I can say I am truly excited about the future of our church. We have so many cool and exciting new ministries starting. To see the programs such as celebrate recovery, upward soccer, motorcycle ministry, outreach events, and so much more starting it is easy to become enthusiastic! God is so good and has been so good to Legacy. It is my Joy and my honor to pastor here and am looking forward to the future.
